About Me

Hi, I’m Tricia Hunt and I’ve been selling my one of a kind handspun yarns on Etsy since 2009. My cozy in home studio is located in Gilmanton, NH not far from the picturesque ‘Four Corners’. I’m proud to have shipped my yarns all over the world and to have been featured in Spin Off magazine and in the Free People catalog and shops. I am insanely grateful for my many loyal customers who return time and time again to buy my handspun yarns, hand dyed fibers and hand carded art batts for their own knitting, crocheting, weaving, doll making, felting, and other creative projects.

I dye many of my own fibers, card colors and textures into art batts and spin traditional as well as art yarns. I prefer an intuitive approach to fiber arts over a purely scientific one and enjoy sharing this with others who visit or learn at my studio encouraging them to trust their own inner voice and creative process while guiding them to use techniques that will bring their vision to light. At SWS the fiber arts are more than a product oriented craft — they are a centering process and practice in mindfulness.
